Careful What You Itch For!!

It should come as no surprise how the Left has attributed “greed” to the character of rich, old White men—aka Republicans.  In fact, those rich, old White men who made, versus inherited, their wealth tend to draw more ire and wrath than do those who did nothing to earn the coffers now filled with money gifted them by others; e.g. the entire Kennedy [common] wealth.

Given sufficient thought, there is no greed greater than that of entitlements largesse, which is to Democrats as was Samson’s hair to his strength and nothing more than enlisting the militarized powers of the Federal Government to grant entitlement claims some presumed rightful portion of someone else’s pocket.  Further characteristic of the Left is its lack of incrementalism—its insistence on a power-grabbing over-reach, versus the graduated stacking of minor successes for sustainably momentum.     [Read more...]

Eating An Elephant…One Republican At A Time

CenterLeft_v1

Since Election Day, November 6, 2012, any number of speculations have abound as to why a race that seemed so in the bag for a Republican victory could have gone so unexpectedly Left and into  the Obama column.  Despite the many pundits and other wannabes who had deciphered the tea leaves for the overlooked indications, none managed to detect what ultimately materialized long before the wee hours thought to be required for parsing winner from loser.  And, what was being characterized as the most important election in the country’s history was tallied against its ultimate redemption.

Despite a his Swiss Cheese record of successes, and the holes were gargantuan, Obama escaped the defeat earned by such a dismal performance as the country’s Chief Executive and New Age Messiah.  Whudda thunk such a miraculous turnabout in public opinion would suddenly emerge to mock the GOP could muster.  Consequently, their efforts to resurrect an Age of Reagan in the persona of Mitt Romney fell face down in embarrassing voter repudiation.  And, none saw it coming.  While none of those nearsighted pundits have lost their jobs and the country still remains the domain of Obama’s tyrannous predilections, they all remain flummoxed as to how they all could have been so horribly off their analytical marks.  How could the “clear and present” Obama defeat so easily clear the trees of his failures to achieve wheels-up for an unobstructed flight into assured tyranny?  Now, as so many feared, the political annals waits, with certitude, to authenticate the country’s end of days. The King Dream: America’s Unintended Nightmare

Obama: Minister of Malice

As Martin Luther King stood on that Memphis hotel balcony on that fated day, there were two things

Obama: Minister of Malice

of many of which he most definitely was unaware.  One was that his location was being compressed through the polished lenses of a rifle scope, which was being pressed against the eye of James Earl Ray; and two, that at the end of such a long road of Civil Right activism, his legacy would become the antithesis of his preaching, as Blacks, yet unborn, would come to exploit this formative and historical experience.  They eventually would turn the King Dream and their Blackness into a pass to gain freedom from responsibility, which is worse than the bondage of race discriminating Southern Democrats, under whom they once shuddered. The New Americanism: Treasonous Suicide

Out-matched and Out-Conned

So, put THIS in your smoke and pipe it.

Out-Matched AND Out-Conned!!

For months, at issue for most of us has been the poor job performance of House Speaker, JohnBoehner, as his out-matched abilities on the Obama battlefield became unavoidably evident.  However, as Boehner continued to lose ground, along with Republican trust, in his so-called negotiations with Obama, the real issue was not his performance.  It was his presumed right to lock himself away in a room with a Democrat as architects of what this supposed representative society can and, more alarming, CAN’T do.  And Boehner’s dismal performance merely was a diversion inadvertently positioned to cloak tyranny’s encroachment under his insipid “leadership” in name only. YOU Might Shalt…But Not ME!!

Embracing_mourners

‘Xcuse me, just for a few hundred words of tough love for those who tend to think that the only form of love means turning both of their cheeks…as well as those belonging to everyone else.  Bless her heart, my mother had even another, and it came at the “diamond-cutting” tip of a green privet switch that she was unsparing in its use, while, with her other hand, motherly salving the freshly etched lessons—now, keloid reminders, which seem too lacking among today’s child-rearing lessons. Party-Rich…People-Poor

Obama_Empty Suit

For the first time in its sovereign existence, the first time since sending the fighting machine of King George limping home to lick the wounds of defeat, which was long before Dr. Pepper was an Intern, these United States of America—mankind’s global Monarch of Freedom—is, itself, without a President.  Though the White House currently hosts a First Family and the Oval Office a duly elected man of the Left, the country has no brinkman deserving of the might enshrined in the office and bequeathed and mandated unto its occupant.  And anyone who still favors and supports the abject failure of Barack Obama undeniably represents a magnitude of  incompetence that should NEVER be trusted with a ballot. Men Without Capes

supermanreeve

I can remember going to the movies to see Christopher Reeve in his 1978 installment of Superman, done in vivid color and special effects, and, having grown up watching George Reeves in Black & White and much less thrilling effects, I went home smiling like a six-year-old…completely mesmerized by Hollywood’s cinematic genius, Reeve’s convincing ability actually to fly, and a heart swollen by my own confidence at defying gravity.  I just needed a building tall enough to enable interminable free-fall, once I left the gravity of its rooftop. Oh, My Akin Head!!

Idiots Come In All Forms & Politics

This is something about which I have written before, but, in light of Todd Akin’s apparent lack of sufficient brains to do his own wiping, I felt compelled to repeat myself, hoping that, at some point, it might strike home.

Idiot Centerfold

Conservative or not, Todd Akin’s remarks about abortion and “legitimate rape” should have caused us all to shudder in the horror of just how the Conservative wing of the GOP does not seem capable of learning.  If it is true that there are two parties—one that is “evil” and the other “stupid,” you all get one guess as to which is which and to which Akin ostensibly belongs.  Though he has now launched an apology communication piece, citing a poor choice of words as the reason for the ignoramus fecal matter dropped on us, it is not wrong speak that caused the dustup, Mr. Akin; instead, it is all about the wrong-headedness from which those words were fomented. White Rage, Where Art Thou?

MSNBC's Toure

Nigger WHAT?!!

Last week, the media was all flummoxed when MSNBC’s Touré (and don’t you just love the Liberal hubris of single-name

MSNBC's Toure

brands?) accused Mitt Romney of fomenting the otherization and niggerization of America.  These charges were leveled at Romney for his assertions of Barack Obama conducting a campaign of earth-scorching negative and defamatory accusations.  According to Touré, Romney’s use of “angry” in charactering Obama’s campaign was “racial code” for the purpose of injecting racism into the campaign, a claim, I might add, comes from a party that freely bandies about their own barrage of “racial codes,” such as, and certainly not limited to, African-American.  And that’s just scratching the surface.

I Know Why The Hitched Mule Plows

JFK

I remember the years as if they were last week’s—1963 through 1968—a time during which the presumptive champions of America’s Blacks fell to assassins’ bullets—JFK and his brother, Robert, Medgar Evers, and the inimitable Martin.  Along with each sacrificial headline came near crippling despair for most Blacks, and they shuddered under irrational prospects of, once again, being shackled to the plow and denied the freedom that they intuitively doubted was fully theirs to have, anyway.  But there was something else about that time that I recall that most have forgotten, and what many of the young will never know.

During those times, Blacks took to their porches as the summits on which critical social issues were shared and debated, and they could be seen perched on ladder-back straight chairs dipping snuff, chewing tobacco, and smoking Prince Albert rolled cigarettes.  Wood-handled church fans were aflutter as their only means of battling summer’s heat and the armies of gnats that held court south of the Mason-Dixon’s so-called Gnat Line.  Word of MLK’s march against southern-born racism was constantly bandied about and pressed for every ounce of insight that was of the gossipers’ own making, as few Blacks of that time were among the literate.  Even those capable of reading were effectively illiterate, as they never read…ANYTHING…anything that didn’t arrive from a government distribution center, preferably marked Pay To the Order of….
