The Fine Print of SMART

Connecting With Emotions

By comparison, when it comes to I.Q., it is no unknown fact that Conservatives boast a conflagration, compared to Liberals barely being able muster a match strike; however, with respect to E.Q,. Emotional Intelligence, it is the Left that beats Conservatives as if they were a rented Ass.  Watch a Liberal plead the left-leaning case on the floor of Congress, and it’s all about pictures that convey emotion and not a fact to be seen or heard.  On the other hand, Conservatives speak with the support of facts, figures, charts, and graphs without any sense of what really connects with the average constituent.  Not since the days of the Great Communicator – Ronaldo Reagan – have Conservatives been able to deliver a Champion with an innate ability to walk on the waters under which this country finds itself.  Ronald Reagan not only came equipped, but he had the ability to read the headlines of our situation. As well, his gut understood what I call the “fine print of SMART,” which, for some reason, completely eludes the GOP, as it seems to believe that didactic clarity suffices to tame a savagery that only a Liberal truly understands – sycophancy.

Why is this?  Is it that Conservatives are too “smart” for their own good, or is it that they, like Liberals, live in a world of make-believe, where the Jack Ass in the living is us, pretending to be an Elephant.

Take the current Republican Primaries…please.  For nearly a year, now, we’ve seen candidates arrive in the form of promise and leave as grist after the wheels of conservative puritanism destroyed them for not being suited for their blue leotards and tights and a red cape.   But, then, to the extent that the party has been so bent on self-destruction, I am certain that enough kryptonite would find its way in the candidate’s underwear, at some strategic point.

Despite the mindlessness of Liberals and their ideologies, they coalesce and do not dissent.  Despite the variations in how they move to and arrive on the Left, only welcoming arms embrace them.  They stand in solidarity.  Yet, no one cometh unto the Right but by the ability to turn water into wine and to walk upon the tides of glorified perfection, and the power to reanimate the dead.  And it is this type of behavior that blows more wind into Liberal sails than anything the Left can, itself, contrive.

When will Conservatives intuitively come to understand that its return to the White House will not be over the mangled political corpse of Barack Obama, but it will be through its acceptance by the Moderates?  It is not about “beating Obama,” as much as it is about “winning the middle.”  And it scares me to think that such simplistic reasoning must be entrusted to a party, whose history has shown that its claim to being smart only evidences its own extreme narcissism.

Clearly and by establishment Conservative standards and behavior, if one ever plans to campaign as one of “theirs,” pooping and pissing his or her diapers had better be the last of his or her transgressions.  Undoubtedly, were he or she to become marred and blemished by life’s thistles, along the way, such imperfection is only expected of the other party and not of socio-political ideals fostered by many on the Right.  While Obama might have his teleprompter, the Conservative Right has its Bible, and never the four shall meet.

And this is the party that castigates the Hope & Change hysteria which gave us Barack Obama.

Imagine that!
